FlexStaff is looking for a permanent qualified Operating Room Registered Nurses with a strong background in orthopedics. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center dedicated to providing top-notch patient care.
As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will primarily serve as a circulating nurse in the operating room, but if you have scrubbing experience, that's a significant bonus!
Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM or 7:30AM-4:00PM depending on the day.
Qualifications:
+ Current RN license in New York State.
+ Experience as a Circulating Nurse in an Operating Room, specifically in orthopedics.
+ Scrubbing experience is a plus.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Prepare and manage the operating room and surgical instruments for orthopedic procedures.
+ Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other nursing staff to ensure effective operations.
+ Monitor patients' vital signs and care before, during, and after surgery.
+ Maintain a sterile environment and follow all safety protocols.
+ Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding pre-operative and post-operative care.
