Operating Room Assistant
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** Come join the Operating Room team at Mercy Medical Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England! We are a member of the nationwide Trinity Health family, bringing compassionate care to our communities. **Position Purpose** **:** The Operating Room Assistant provides general ancillary support to the operating room staff under the direction of the RN. **What you will do:** Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Hands – On OR room set-up and ensuring rooms are properly stocked; post-operative room clean-up; assist with transporting specimens to the lab; assist with turning and positioning of patients; and patient transport. **Minimum Qualifications** **:** + **Education** : High School diploma or equivalent required. + **Licensure** : None + **Certification** : None + **Comfortable with** : Repetitive Heavy lifting/pulling (Equipment and Patient transport) Work Schedule: + Full-Time - 40 Hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., must be flexible with hours based on unit needs.
