Job Overview: Performs procurement activities for OR services in a cost-effective manner with a priority emphasis on effective inventory management. Serves as primary contact for vendors with regard to vendor performance, issue resolution and standardization. Ensure that [unit/department/division] is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations. Qualifications: Required: + High School diploma or equivalent + Three to five years Materials Management experience required + Three to five years purchasing, data collection and reporting experience required + Computer, printer, copier, fax machine, MIS terminal + Must be flexible, able to multitask and be able to work independently. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written).
