Pay: $86800 - $102700 / year (paid hourly)
**up to $112970 / year w/ WA State EL07 license and strong experience**
Schedule: Sun - Wed; 5a - 5p or 7a - 7p (TBD); 4 days on, 3 days off then 3 days on, 4 days off
**will work M-F, day shift for training period**

What this job involves:As a Operating Engineer at JLL, you will play a vital role in maintaining and monitoring building systems within our critical environments. Working under the Engineering Manager's direction, you'll ensure continuous operation of essential systems including fire/life safety, mechanical, electrical, and hot water systems. This position requires technical expertise to analyze operations, troubleshoot problems, and implement preventive maintenance strategies. You'll help shape the future of real estate for a better world by maintaining sustainable and efficient building operations while ensuring 100% uptime and compliance with customer service level agreements.
What your day-to-day will look like:Maintain and monitor building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipmentRecord readings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation of all systemsAnalyze operations to identify and resolve problems/malfunctions while taking appropriate corrective actionsOversee contractor activities within the building and ensure they're properly informed about critical functionsMaintain detailed engineering logs, data sheets, and records of building roundsImplement and follow emergency escalation proceduresEnsure strict adherence to Critical Awareness Process, technical bulletins, and established engineering guidelinesSupport the development of complex utility/electrical/mechanical procedures and protocolsRequired Qualifications:High School diploma, GED equivalent, or technical training/degree3+ years' experience in facilities operations, maintenance, and engineeringTechnical knowledge of critical environments, HVAC systems, and associated infrastructureProficiency with computer applications including MS OfficeStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities for technical issuesAbility to understand and follow work management processes and requirementsKnowledge of building systems including Building Automation Systems (BAS)Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplacePreferred Qualifications:Operating Engineer (BOC) or other applicable licensesUniversal CFC's license or ability to obtain one within 90 days01, 07, or 06A Electrical licenseExperience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Knowledge of energy management and sustainability programsExperience with regulatory inspections and environmental auditsAbility to make effective presentations on technical topicsExperience working with clients/tenants in critical facilitiesWillingness to accept on-call responsibilities as assignedLocation: OnsiteInclusion StatementAt JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way — for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees. Estimated total compensation for this position:
