Manage the openstack platform ecosystem (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring)
Installing, configuring and testing the OpenStack keystone, glance, cinder, swift, nova and Neutron.
Assist in change management of openstack platform for new versions of OpenStack, Hotfixes, SysAdmin tasks, etc.
Support to customers for configuring the VM's  with required security
Monitoring the deployed nodes & utilization reports with capacity planning
Cluster capacity management and provisioning through automation of underlying hosts
Works with OEM to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.

Knowledge/Skills & Experience

Certified Openstack  Administrator(Ex210)
Expertise with the RedHat OpenStack Platform.
Expertise in RedHat Linux administration.
Experience with openstack cloud PAAS/IAAS technologies.
Scripting and Automating tasks and processes through bash script and Ansible playbooks
Experience in Infrastructure provisioning, monitoring and Ops
Expert in troubleshooting issues/incidents related to Virtualization and containers across OpenStack
Experience with emerging technologies like Hybrid/Private cloud, Linux containers and SDN.
Maintain and contribute to Standard Operating Procedures for common operational tasks in Openstack  environment.
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high demand environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrates strong customer service awareness and orientation
Experience with Kubernetes platforms (OpenShift or Open source k8s Cluster)
Experience with CEPH storage technology.
Experience in OS platforms (windows, Linux, centos, ubuntu etc.)..
Advanced technical background of RHEL based server operating systems.
Maintain knowledge base for alert handling, and where possible integrate this directly into monitoring or ticketing tools/ assist in alerts fine tuning.
Perform Incident management, Problem management and capacity management tasks.
Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Good networking knowledge, including software defined networking.
