Position Title: Openshift Architect

North Texas Market, TX – Dallas Innovation Center (Luna Rd)
Phoenix, AZ – Biltmore
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote)
Acceptable Time Zone(s): Flexible – CT/EST
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
Core Hours: 8 AM – 5 PM (flexible)
Overtime: Minimal (must be available for weekend shift if needed)
Travel: None
Assignment Length: Through 1/30/2026

Industry BackgroundOpen to all backgrounds (banking/financial industry experience is a plus)
Team StructureTeam of ~10 engineers
1 Product Owner
Support team for OCP (OpenShift Container Platform)
Roles & ResponsibilitiesHands-on engineering for OCP (OpenShift Container Platform)
Perform administrative, engineering, and architectural work
Cross-train and gain exposure to multiple areas
Communicate with customers, third-party vendors, and Red Hat associates
Troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems
Experience Level: Level 3 (4–6 years)
Must-Have Technical SkillsRed Hat OpenShift or other Kubernetes platforms
Red Hat Linux operating systems
Understanding of networking and storage architectures for OpenShift/K8s
Experience with hosted applications or large-scale application deployments
Strong Linux tool knowledge
Nice-to-Have / Flex SkillsCloud experience
Automation (ArgoCD, Ansible, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines)
Soft SkillsClear and courteous communication
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
Innovative and “out-of-the-box” thinker
Education / CertificationsExperience in lieu of education acceptable
