Our client, a government legal services department, is seeking an Open Records Specialist to join their team. As an Open Records Specialist, you will be part of the Legal Department supporting records management and public information compliance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Rate:$20.54 per hour
What’s the Job?Responding to open records requests in compliance with Georgia Open Records Act
Gathering, reviewing, and preparing legal documents and correspondence
Coordinating with attorneys and staff on litigation and discovery needs
Performing legal research and interpreting statutes and case law
Maintaining organized, accurate case and records systems
What’s Needed?College Degree
4+ years of administrative experience in a legal or government setting
Knowledge of legal terminology, records procedures, and public disclosure laws
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal databases
Valid driver's license
