Job Description
As a Resident Project Representative, you will conduct on-site observations to monitor the progress and quality of work in accordance with contract documents. You will serve as the engineer's liaison with the contractor, maintain adequate records including a daily logbook and a set of drawings with authorized changes noted, review the contractor’s application for payment, and perform other duties as assigned.
ResponsibilitiesConduct field investigations and provide construction inspection and support for civil and environmental engineering projects, including manhole inspections, smoke testing, infrastructure condition assessments, site investigation, and construction inspection and reporting.Communicate and coordinate daily with project owners, engineers, and contractors.Engage in primarily on-site field work but also perform some office work and reporting.Essential SkillsExperience in construction inspection on water and wastewater construction projects, including potable water line installation, sewer installation, pump station, lift station, and treatment plant construction projects.Ability to read civil construction plans and specifications.Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.Good communication and client relation skills.Willingness to travel to projects as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience in construction inspection or RPR work for potable water line installation, sanitary sewer line installation, water treatment plant, wastewater treatment plant, pump stations, and lift stations.Work Environment
The initial project involves the construction of a new Water Treatment Plant in Kouts, IN, scheduled to last one year. This role requires working standard construction hours (7 AM - 4 PM) with some overtime, up to 50+ hours as needed. A company vehicle is provided with a gas card, and accommodations are covered for overnight travel with a per diem. The team consists of 129 full-time employees, with 15 in the Construction Department including 12 Resident Project Representatives.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $87360.00/yr.

May carry over max. 100 hours from one year to the next.PERSONAL TIME OFF (PTO) – accrued at rate of 40 hours per year prorated each pay period and made available as earned.
