The Opportunity:
Responsible for maintaining constant communication with the client, internal and external. Receive customer orders and process them to meet overall requirements. Organize the onsite team in terms of emergencies, support, vacations, etc. Meet customer requirements regarding the service offered and validate the service periodically. Handle all paperwork and follows all procedures to meet this goal.MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)
Monitor and coordinate the activities of the on-site service team to ensure effective and quality service delivery.Plan and schedule customer visits periodically, coordinating schedules and availability of both the on-site service team and the client.Act as the primary link between the on-site service team and clients, providing support and responses to inquiries from both parties.Coordinate logistics and necessary resources for visits, including materials required by the on-site service team for their daily tasks.Ensure that visits to client facilities adhere to their procedures and policies.Coordinate vacation days, personal leave, and corresponding backup support.Generate reports and periodic updates on progress and results of customer visits for relevant parties at both VWR and clients.Maintain open communication with the customer service team to ensure client objectives and expectations are met.Manage open order status reports, metrics, departmental reports, and maintain SOP/SOW if necessary.Monitor and follow up on the resolution of customer problems and requests, ensuring timely and satisfactory attention.Collaborate with the customer service team to identify service and operational efficiency improvement opportunities.Performs other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS (Education/training, experience, and certifications)
University degree (preferably Bachelor's) in fields such as business administration, customs, international trade, or related fields.2+ years of applicable experience, preferably in the life sciences, biotechnology, related manufacturing industry, or equivalent experience in customer service, procurement, or account management.Good communication skills in both Spanish and English (verbal and written).Strong computer and office software skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), email, and specific customer or account management tools (CRM) or internal systems like SAP.Knowledge in international trade, logistics, or related fields is desirable.Own vehicle and drivers license requiredKNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)
Proficient English communication skills (verbal and written).Basic knowledge of purchasing and inventory.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and coordinate with external staff and clients.Excellent customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Must be flexible, adaptable, and detail-oriented.Ability to handle multiple tasks and requests, requiring organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications.Self-directed, proactive, and results-oriented.Disclaimer:
