Who We Are:
Our story began in 2011 when a group of office workers at a major logistics company in Chicago had a lunch problem. Nearby options were limited, and the team was spending too much time and money traveling to their favorite restaurants. They had an idea: bring Chicago’s local restaurant culture inside the office to sell food.  It was an immediate hit. When they discovered people from other companies sneaking into their office, they knew they were on to something.

Fooda pioneered the concept of rotating popup restaurants inside offices. Today, we operate in 45 cities with over 100 million meals served and continue to grow rapidly.

Powered by technology and a network of 1500+ restaurants, we feed hungry people at work through a platform of unique food programs located within companies, office buildings, hospitals, schools, distribution centers, and more. Who We Are Looking For:
As a Catering Account Associate, you will be responsible for managing Fooda’s relationships with our restaurant partners and clients. You will be responsible for training and on-boarding our restaurant partners to support your assigned clients, as well as providing client-specific solutions to their office food needs. 

What You Will Be Doing:Act as the single point of contact for one or multiple Fooda catering clientsBuild relationships with clients by offering solutions, solving problems, and managing issues.Work closely with clients to determine catering needs; source appropriate vendors; plan, organize and execute daily drop-off and staffed eventsCommunicate all event details, client requests and delivery information to restaurant partnersWork and collaborate with Fooda’s Business Development Team to identify new business opportunitiesNegotiate new menus with restaurant partners for special requests Who You Are:You love building relationships with customers and genuinely enjoy customer service You will go above and beyond to make sure your client’s needs are metYou are friendly, high energy and love interacting with other peopleYou are empathetic to your core yet comfortable being tough and taking a standYou are savvy with technology and will be comfortable in a fast-paced startupYou have a take-charge attitude and are optimistic in the face of problems, and know that you're capable of finding solutions You enjoy working in a team environment with an "all hands on deck" approachYou are very organized and detail orientedWhat You Should Already Have:1-2 year(s) of professional experience (preferably in a catering capacity)Strong customer facing skillsBachelor’s degree preferredAbility to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independentlyProven skills demonstrating a strong work ethic adhering to both Fooda’s values and external customer needsWhat We’ll Hook You Up With:Competitive base salary, bonus plan, and stock options, based on experienceComprehensive health, dental and vision plans401k retirement plan with company matchPaid maternity and parental leave benefitsFlexible spending accountsCompany-issued laptopDaily subsidized lunch program (ours!) Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The salary range for this role is $ 65,000- $70,000. The salary is dependent on a number of factors, including but not limited to work experience, training, location, and skills.
