About the role
We are looking for a results-oriented, hybrid-thinking Online Marketing Specialist to help accelerate our user acquisition efforts through both digital partnerships. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a data-driven environment, has hands-on experience managing paid media partnerships, and can think creatively about building scalable programs that drive free installations.
You will work directly with partners from around the world and contribute to the growth of globally recognized brands, including Avast, AVG, Avira, and CCleaner. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as marketing, legal, finance, country managers, product, BI, and analytics to deliver programs that have a measurable impact on customer growth and acquisition performance.
Objectives:
Identify and establish new partnerships across software ecosystems, tech platforms, websites, marketplaces, and more, with the goal of driving large-scale free installs.Effectively onboard new partners into Gen Digital systems, ensuring seamless integration and activation.Develop and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with partners to support sustained growth.Strategically allocate and manage campaign budgets to maximize return on investment.Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns across various partnership types, tailored to acquisition goals.Own and monitor key funnel metrics, including installs, click-through rates (CTR), install/uninstall rates, cost per install (CPI), customer acquisition cost (CAC), bookings per install (BPI), return on ad spend (ROAS), and total bookings.Conduct A/B testing on creative assets and user journeys to enhance conversion rates and campaign efficiency.Design and manage any new initiatives that align with growth and install objectives.Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, legal, design, product, and BI/analytics teams to support agreement execution, technical implementation, and performance tracking.Build performance tracking dashboards, deliver actionable insights, and provide data-driven recommendations to continuously improve partner and campaign outcomes.Competencies:
2–4 years of experience in digital acquisition, growth, or performance marketing, with additional exposure to partner marketing or business development.Deep understanding of core performance metrics such as CPI, CPA, CAC, and CLTV, with the ability to analyze and optimize campaigns based on data.Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners; comfortable operating in a hybrid work environment that includes both in-office and remote collaboration.Excellent relationship-building skills, with a focus on trust, collaboration, and long-term partner success.Advanced Excel skills, capable of building and maintaining detailed performance reports and dashboards.Proficient with analytics and tracking tools such as GA4, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and Mixpanel.Highly organized with strong time management skills and a track record of meeting deadlines.Self-motivated and fast learner, with a strong sense of curiosity and initiative.Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across all deliverables.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Nice to have:
Experience in marketing freemium or trial-based products, particularly within the software or cybersecurity space.Familiarity with partner onboarding processes, affiliate program scaling, or integration within broader digital ecosystems.Hands-on experience with campaign automation, CRM systems, marketing operations, Power BI, and emerging AI tools.Proficient with major ad platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, as well as analytics and tracking tools such as Google Tag Manager, HubSpot, and affiliate networks.Proficiency in Czech or other European languages is a strong plus.Gen is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusivity.
