In this critical position, you will lead a highly skilled team of field-based Oncology Therapy Area Managers and directly improve patient outcomes and reinforce our leadership in oncology.
As our Oncology Sales Manager & Strategic Customer Lead reporting to Oncology Business Unit Director, you will deliver on the following key objectives:
Oncology sales targets & ensure launch readiness for new assets
Lead and develop the oncology team of therapy area managers
Strategic account management and engagement
Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) & training initiatives across our company in Denmark

Having a highly competent and effective oncology sales team will be critical to ensure success with our in-market portfolio as well as launching multiple new blockbuster assets in the coming years. Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop the oncology sales team to meet and exceed business objectives.
Cultivate a culture of trust, collaboration, high performance, and engagement.
Create business cases and strategies to achieve business results.
Develop and execute strategic account plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams to maximize product utilization and new launches.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key regional and account stakeholders.
Align sales activities with marketing and medical affairs strategies, monitoring market trends and competitor activity.
Lead the rollout and adoption of SFE tools and processes, leveraging analytics to enhance sales effectiveness.
Lead on sales force training and development initiatives. ‘
Communicate and present plans and results to leadership and regional teams
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Support leadership reporting and transparent communication of progress, challenges, and successes.
What You Bring:
University degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in a relevant field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial functions, with at least 3 years in pharmaceutical sales and strategic account management.
A proven track record of success in sales management is preferred.
Broad knowledge of the Danish healthcare system.
Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal communication skills that motivate, align, and energize others towards a shared vision and strategy.
Competent in understanding and communicating scientific and health-economic data.
Strong communication, negotiation, and selling skills.
Ability to evaluate performance data and refine strategies based on insights.
Competent verbal and written communication skills in English and Danish are required.
