Salary: $3528 / Week Oncology Nursing Coordinator | Travel Contract | August Start – Bay Area We’re working with a reputable hospital in Palo Alto, CA to place an experienced Oncology Nursing Coordinator for a full-time, travel contract role. This is a non-clinical position ideal for RNs with strong outpatient oncology experience who are ready to step away from bedside care and focus on coordination and patient support. Position Highlights: + Location: Palo Alto, CA + Start Window: August/September 2025 + Contract Length: 26 weeks (with potential extensions) + Schedule: 4x10s, Day Shift (40 hours/week) + Setting: Cancer Center (Outpatient) Key Responsibilities: + Coordinate oncology care across multiple outpatient clinics + Conduct patient outreach and follow-up via phone/messaging + Manage documentation and workflows in Epic + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions + Support various clinics based on operational needs Ideal Candidate: + Active RN license with 2+ years of outpatient oncology experience in the U.S. + Background in care coordination, nurse navigation, or case management + Comfortable working independently with minimal training + Chemo certification is a plus, but not required + Inpatient oncology experience is acceptable but not ideal for this role + Must be tech-savvy and confident using Epic + Must reside 50+ miles from Palo Alto, CA to qualify as a traveler This is a great opportunity for a compassionate and organized RN who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment— without the physical demands of bedside care .
