Job Description
The Oncology Clinical Research Coordinator will directly engage with patients during their visits, collaborating with research nurses as necessary. While supported by data and regulatory teams, a basic understanding of their functions is essential. The role involves working within teams divided by disease groups and may encompass Phase 1, GI, or Thoracic studies.
ResponsibilitiesConduct patient visits and engage directly with patients.Collaborate with research nurses during patient visits.Participate in recruitment and inclusion/exclusion processes.Support studies within the team without owning or leading them.Manage a patient load of no more than 10 patients per week.Essential SkillsClinical research and trial experience.Oncology patient recruitment skills.At least one year of patient-facing clinical research experience.Ability to consent patients and conduct patient visits.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a relevant field.Clinical research certification.Experience in Phase 1 clinical trials.SOCRA or ACRP certification for higher pay.Work Environment
The work environment offers flexibility with a start time between 7:00-9:00 am, depending on the patient schedule, and generally involves 8-hour shifts. Initially, the role requires working onsite daily for the first three months, with the option to work from home one day a week there after. Opportunities for growth are available, including internal training and the chance to move within different teams.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
