Key Responsibilities:

This role is a key administrator of global and local onboarding for the People and Culture Employment Operations & Onboarding team to ensure compliance with World Vision International (WVI) recruitment selection and onboarding policies, standard operational procedures, and global best practices. This position will liaise with relevant Global Centre People and Culture (GC P&C) teams as well as local P&C partners globally to ensure that new hires are effectively inducted into the organization in a way that improves their overall experience. The role is responsible for integrating the Onboarding process in Workday, monitoring/evaluating progress, and suggesting continuous improvement. The post holder will be the subject matter expert and will continuously research and recommend new ways of improving the new hire induction and onboarding process for more efficiency.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Global Orientation and Onboarding:

Maintain scalable standard operating procedures for the onboarding of the global WVI population.Conduct induction and onboarding for all Global Centre hires in partnership with global & local P&C teams and hiring managers.Provide expertise on the onboarding process for International Assignees (IA).Coordinate IA onboarding with other relevant GC P&C departments like benefits, payroll, and global mobility, as well as external partners.Lead onboarding orientation calls as per the established schedule for certain employee types.Respond to inquiries related to new hire onboarding and provide fast & efficient solutions.Evaluate and triage requests of new hires and their managers, provide guidance, find solutions, and escalate for further assistance when needed.Maintain and update wvcentral Onboarding page with relevant resources and information.

Workday Onboarding Module Management:

Oversee onboarding plans assigned to new employees by the Workday Onboarding module.Track onboarding plan progression and assist with troubleshooting at any stage.Run and analyse weekly onboarding reports to evaluate the new hire onboarding process.Facilitate resolution with other People & Culture teams engaged in onboarding.Act as a main partner with the P&C Systems Support Services team to diagnose and resolve any system issues.Document any process improvement initiatives taken during module implementation.Act as the key person in the Onboarding Partner Workday role and provide cross-training.Collect and analyse data from employee experience surveys and propose improvements.

Local (US) Employment, Onboarding, and Compliance

Conduct employment verification procedures for all US-based employees, including I-9 and E-Verify.Conduct criminal background checks domestically (US) and internationally, and act as a single point of contact for the external background check vendor.Ensure local and global compliance with existing onboarding procedures.Organize, store, and maintain onboarded employee data for monitoring and compliance, as well as ensure proper confidential records in appropriate internal systems.

P&C Employment & Onboarding team work:

Meaningfully participate in team meetings and make contributions to the team’s success.Partner and collaborate with team members on their portfolios as needed.   Perform other duties as needed at manager’s discretion

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Proven experience with new hire onboarding processes and Human Resources (HR) administration.Excellent working knowledge of Workday HR related modules or equivalent HRIS system(s).Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to conduct orientation & onboarding calls.Ability to organize information in a logical, efficient, and user-friendly way.Experience with managing employees' files, databases, or similar records.Extreme attention to detail and process flows; ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.Strong partnership-building skills and customer-oriented attitude.Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook and PowerPoint.A mature Christian who models Christian behaviors in dealing with others.

For positions filled in the United States, the typical salary range for this role is $64.000 USD to $69.000 USD. Ranges are based on various factors, including the labor market, job type, job level, internal equity, and budget. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
