Onboarding Platform Specialist – 6 Months FTC Maternity Cover Job ID 221943 Posted 28-May-2025 Service line Corporate Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest People/Human Resources Location(s) Hong Kong - Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur - Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia, Singapore - Singapore **PRIMARY ROLE OBJECTIVE** The Onboarding Specialist within the Onboarding & Offboarding Tower will work on initiatives across the portfolio of People processes and systems, which deliver People Operations Services which maybe regional or global. The role reports to the Global Onboarding & Offboarding Tower Lead, and partners with the Regional People Operations Leaders, People Centres of Excellence (COE) and Enterprise Platform teams, including Digital & Technology and Finance. This role will provide expertise in Onboarding products and processes, identifying process gaps and opportunities to simplify and make employee services more efficient. The role will focus on the following products: Avature (Offer Management, Onboarding), DocuSign, and Background Screening Tools (including HireRight and Sterling). The processes in scope for this tower include all Onboarding activities, including LECAP (legal entity creation) and M&A transactions. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Responsible for maintaining, developing, and constructing processes related to Onboarding for the People organization within CBRE. + Executes Onboarding & Offboarding tower initiatives and supports the architecting of People processes and systems, conducts detailed research via stakeholder meetings to identify where process improvements can be made. + Process owner and SME within their Tower, leveraging design, documentation, and implementation techniques to deliver world-class process solutions. + Works with internal stakeholders to assess and identify areas of improvement within their tower process and product landscape, ensuring all product and process initiatives are consistent with governance standards and are aligned with D&T, Finance, Audit, SOX, Data Governance, other corporate functions, and statutory requirements. + Has a technical understanding of system functionality and capability within their process tower and awareness of the interdependencies and downstream impact to other CBRE Systems + Working on enhancements and conducting UAT on items related to Avature, Opentext and Hireright/Sterling. + Will be a key contact for a Background Screening products including participating in a Global RFP, support with AMS implementation, and support EMEA and APAC BAU background screening. + Will manage M&A requests and ensure workplans are developed and communicated with the respective People Process Towers and People Operations Leaders. + Follows the global CBRE standards to document new processes and to problem solve through existing process and product challenges. + Maintains the Platform workstack in accordance with Platform governance standards and provides regular and frequent status updates to their Tower Leader / Stakeholders of the progress on all initiatives they are working on. **QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:** + 5+ years of experience with People Systems and Processes with a preference of Onboarding processes and Background screening (including participating in RFP processes). + Bachelor's degree in People, IT, or a related field of study preferred + Experience guiding initiatives and stakeholders through change and process improvement. + Stakeholder and Project Management experience. + Experience with functionality design requirements and implementation best practices. + Experience and qualifications in Process Mapping, Continuous Improvement, Lean, Six Sigma and Solution Design principles preferred but not essential. + Expertise in thinking critically and strategically to solve problems with practical solutions. + Ability to coordinate, prioritize and simultaneously balance multiple issues while communicating at all levels in the organization. + Customer-service oriented approach to problem solving and gathering feedback to determine continuous improvements. + Experience working within a Shared Services or centralised operating environment for a global company.
