Onboarding Coordinator - Mexico Applicants only

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Onboarding Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless and compliant onboarding experience for all new hires across the U.S. and Mexico. This position is primarily responsible for collecting, reviewing, and processing all required new hire documentation, while providing exceptional support to new employees throughout the onboarding process.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collect, verify, and track all required new hire documentation for employees in the United States and Mexico, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies. Serve as the main point of contact for new hires during the pre-boarding and onboarding phases. Maintain accurate records in the HRIS system. Monitor onboarding workflows and follow up with new hires and internal teams to resolve outstanding items. Assist in the continuous improvement of onboarding processes and documentation. Support onboarding-related reporting and audits as needed. Provide administrative support for onboarding mergers and acquisitions. Responsible for managing the completion of i-9 forms for all new hires. This includes regularly pulling the i-9 report form ADP, coordinating directly with new employees to ensure timely submission, and verifying documentation to maintain compliance with federal requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

 

EXPERIENCE:

1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, onboarding, or administrative support roles.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS or onboarding platforms. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize work. Ability to multi-task

 

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

Non-patient facing May be either full time remote/telework or rotate working in the office and remote/telework. Must be Mexico based Professional office environment Involves high and frequent call volume. Data entry for extended period of times Will require sitting for long periods of time.
