Meaningful Work From Day One
The On-Trade Sales Supervisor is responsible for driving sales and distribution activities, with a focus on brand building, increasing brand awareness among customers, and ensuring the optimal market position for Brown-Forman brands within OT. This role works closely with and supports the OT Channel Sales Manager. The On-Trade Sales Supervisor is accountable for achieving both personal and team goals, and for managing and developing a team of distributors.
What You Can Expect
Core Responsibilities On-Trade:
● Implements the overall OT sales strategy and guides the teams of B-F business partners in the application of these strategies.
● Conducts point-of-sale visits in accordance with the sales steps and company standards, following the routes approved by the On-Trade Channel Manager.
● Makes commercial visits to OT sales points; establishes business partnerships with the visited points, and maintains these partnerships.
● Supports the Area Sales Manager in creating distributor orders and monitors the achievement of distributor purchasing targets.
● Responsible for the sales (distributor purchases and field sales), distribution, and visibility of B-F products.
● Ensures optimal stock levels at sales points and ensures that products are displayed in compliance with B-F standards, legal recommendations, and internal regulations.
● Responsible for implementing brands according to the defined planograms and for positioning POSM materials in the best possible way.
● Ensures the budgets allocated for activities are applied appropriately and efficiently, in line with installation mechanics, deadlines, and the company’s applicable standards.
● Responsible for including potential new OT channel sales points operating in their region in the coverage. Provides guidance to the teams of B-F business partners in this regard.
● Opens and/or closes On-Trade channel sales points in the system in line with company standards.
● Conducts regional analyses to increase the sales of B-F brands and support the achievement of company objectives, develops action plans, and implements these plans together with the teams of B-F business partners.
● Ensures the proper implementation of sales campaigns/promotional activities.
● Holds regular meetings with the sales team of B-F business partners. Provides guidance to the sales teams in line with company strategies.
Administrative Responsibilities:
● Submits expected data, reports, and activity evaluations on time, according to the standards and procedures valid within the company.
● Regularly reads corporate emails and responds to emails in a timely manner.
● Responsible for timely reporting in line with B-F standards through Panorama and, if applicable, Vispera (collecting data on B-F products, market data, data on serviced customers, and information on competitors’ activities in the market).
● Holds regular meetings with the On-Trade Channel Manager to provide feedback on the status of the work.
● Responsible for maintaining the customer database in their region accurately and up-to-date.
● Aligns the investments with the company's strategic objectives.
● Maintains operations in the responsible territory in compliance with company standards.
● Guarantees the responsible territory consistently achieves top-tier results.
● Regularly monitors the performance of the investments of the territory.
● Acts as a Brand Ambassador for the B-F portfolio. Coordinates the preparation and delivery of specific product training for the sales staff of B-F business partners.
What You Bring to the Table
● Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent).
● Competent computer use (MS Office programs - Excel, Power Point).
● Proficient in spoken and written English.
● Driver's license.
● Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in FMCG, preferably within the same category/field.
● Strong knowledge of sales and negotiation techniques.
● Comprehensive understanding of the market.
● Excellent business process organization skills.
● Proven ability to establish and maintain easy, sustainable commercial relationships.
● Experience in utilizing financials in collaboration with clients.
● Ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations to clients.
