About the Role

Diageo Greece has a leading position in all major alc product categories and is therefore faced with the challenge of not only sustaining but also further strengthening it's already very strong business base and accelerate growth, within a highly sophisticated Key Accounts On Premise environment and a highly diversified Special Accounts market.

In this role, you'll work with the other On Trade Sales Manager (North and Key Accounts) and our Customer Marketing team to implement a commercial strategy crafted to broaden distribution of our portfolio in the premium on-trade channel

The role’s principal areas of focus will be winning market share via proactive recruitment of new business and Strategically growing sales and share with a portfolio of existing accounts.

You will be improving profit delivery and market share growth:

Develop a compelling outlet strategy for South Greece area

Deliver efficiency in Trade spend that will allow growth through productivity 

Identify growth opportunities behind trends and implement at a tactical and strategic level balancing options and choices, focusing on driving sell-out and market share.

Embed operational excellence in indirect customer management enabling the business to exploit opportunities and respond to competitive threats

Manage business performance through measurement of every single agreement

Work closely with the NAMs in On Trade, encouraging a sell-out culture across the organization

Deliver a transformation in commercial standards

Lead, develop and inspire a team of Account Executives (Outlet developers)

Deliver the compliance agenda & role model to the highest standards of control, compliance and ethics.

You will be the decision maker for our customer strategies, our Business Performance Management, Innovation commercialization (investment and activation plans) and the Commercial resource allocation (investment / people) for the team.

About you

You have a strong and broad track record in Commercial with significant account management experience including leading strategic planning with customers and P&L accountability.

You're highly skilled in fostering commitment through advance negotiation skills and creating collaborative relationships. You have in depth understanding of wholesalers, key customers and competitors: their businesses and their shoppers/drinkers.

You present a deep understanding of the Greek market dynamics and complexity ability to spot and assess potential opportunities.

You're an inspiring person engaging team members and leaders.

Passion about working in the industry - also including some nights

Availability to travel around South Greece (Attica, Peloponnese, Rhodes and Crete)

You're proficient in Greek and English.
