Job Summary: Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the office (Applications Engineer). In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications.  You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site.

Work schedule: Fly-in Fly-out (4 days on - 3 days off)

Location: Fort McMurray, AB.

We will consider candidates from Edmonton, Calgary and Fort McMurray.

Responsibilities:

Support of the defined clientele in the officeEvaluation of requests, generation of solution proposalsCost calculation, if necessary, in cooperation with the relevant departmentsTechnical and commercial preparation of offersOrder acceptance, review, and preparation (Complete Order)And any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

BS or BA Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Petroleum Engineering with EIT designation, and 3-5 years relevant experience.Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as, inside Sales Representative, Engineer.  Excellent communication skillsStrong technician acumen and analytical thinking.Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications.Valid driver's license.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

SAP knowledgeBackground in O&G industries or in rotating equipment.
