Compensation: $17.75 - $17.75/hour

Tessera is seeking a motivated and dependable On-Call Janitor with a can-do/helpful attitude.
This is an On-Call position and depending on the division, you will be required to come in on days that are available and need covering, or on days that you have agreed upon with your Leads or Managers.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
+ On-Call Employees may refuse call-ins because of personal scheduling conflicts, but you are aware that after three (3) refusals, within a twelve (12) month period, you MAY lose your on-call status and any other employment consideration.
+ Works and promotes a safe and healthy work environment and reports any safety findings or concerns to their direct supervisors or managers
+ Restroom Cleaning – sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls & doors. Restock supplies. Collect trash and replace liners. Sweep and mop floor. Follow cross-contamination procedures.
+ Office Cleaning – sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule.
+ Halls and High Traffic area Cleaning – sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule.
+ Entrances and Exits Cleaning – sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean entry doors according to schedule.
+ Trash – Empty trash in office areas, lunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker according to schedule.
+ Supply Restocking – restock supplies according to schedule.
+ Dusting – dusting in restrooms, shower/locker areas, according to schedule.
+ Stairwell Cleaning – sweep, mop, vacuum, and wipe handrails according to schedule.
+ Shower Cleaning – clean all shower stalls, damp wipe for dust, restock supplies, mop floors following cross contamination procedures
+ Janitorial Supply Closet/Locker – keep clean and organized.
+ Communicating with Customers – always be courteous and communicate in a professional manner when talking with customers.
+ Will be required to work with any janitorial personnel and on any route at any given moment due to callouts and mission tempo change.
+ Must maintain a positive team environment when working alone or with others
+ All Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma/GED required
+ 0 – 3 years of previous custodian or janitorial experience preferred
+ Combination of experience and education will be considered
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
+ Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
+ May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
+ Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
+ Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
+ A valid state driver’s license is preferred with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by tessera’s insurance.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
