This role is based on-site at our Ridgefield, CT location with hybrid flexibility of 2-3 days per week on-site.
As Omnichannel Integration Lead, the position holder will support the Omnichannel Operations efforts cross functionally with Marketing, Delivery Unit, Medical, A&I, Global GTM, and IT teams to operationalize the omnichannel engagement models and platforms.
Reporting to Director of Omnichannel Excellence and Integration, the incumbent will deliver against the following areas:
Business lead for portfolio-wide issue resolution on our marketing automation tool Partner with Marketing, HPRC, Delivery Unit and Omnichannel Excellence TA Leads regarding Veeva Approved Emails (VAE) and Home Office Emails (HOE). Responsible for optimizing VAE and HOE processes to pro-actively prevent issues. Drive business requirements and build customer journeys within our marketing automation toolAs a subject matter expert, understand integration between our marketing automation tool, customer data platform, data performance analyzer, campaign planning solution for customer journey building, Vault and CRM for VAEs and IVA approval and deploymentsBusiness lead for the Customer Data Platform, Campaign Planning Solution, and marketing automation tool, including creating processes for system issues and performance enhancementsOnboarding / integrate new vendors including partnering with Marketing, Media Center of Excellence, IT, and A&I to coordinate the integration of the new vendor.Responsible for onboarding of all new vendors into our omnichannel ecosystem to support next-best-action deployment, create and deliver technical requirements to the Media Center of Excellence for future omnichannel vendor integrations.Partner with Omnichannel TA Leads and Media Center of Excellence for omnichannel programming, providing business requirementsOperationalize platforms and the integration of platforms that support omnichannel engagement. Business owners for our Customer Data Platform, marketing automation tool and Campaign Planning SolutionCreate operational guidebooks/playbooks and corresponding systems where appropriate (e.g. Campaign Planning Solution)Improve and/or establish processes for engaging with internal and external stakeholders using our Customer Data PlatformPartner with Data Governance with the email consent process, and provide business requirementsDuties & Responsibilities
Owns platforms, business requirements, and integration of tools like marketing automation, CDP, campaign planning, orchestration engine.Creates processes to ensure smooth execution of campaigns, content tagging, and data flow, and monitors execution performance.Monitors execution performance, provides recommendations, and partners with vendors for engagement data.Creates business requirements and system enhancements across owned platforms.Provides strategic consulting and expert guidance on the design and implementation of omnichannel journeys tailored for healthcare professionals.Develops and optimizes omnichannel campaigns to ensure seamless deployment across multiple channels, enhancing engagement and impact.Collaborates closely with cross-functional stakeholders to co-create comprehensive business requirements for marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer needs.Onboards third-party paid media into omnichannel environment, defining business rules for integration (e.g., API compatibility, data mapping, NBA compliance).Integrates email campaigns into marketing automation platform, setting rules for segmentation, and personalization.4C File Integration: Creates and delivers 4C (Customer, Content, Channel, Cadence) instruction files to vendors via secure platforms for omnichannel execution.Leads process development for omnichannel campaign execution, integrating data sources, configuring workflows, and optimizing performance.Leads project execution for omnichannel systems as the business lead for omni platforms, responsible for defining business requirements and driving platform-wide system enhancements.Responsible for onboarding new vendors for technical integration including requirement gathering, partnering with IT and A&I on the implementation plan.Works with IT and existing vendors to resolve technical issues.Maintains Integration Assessments.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required.Seven-plus (7+) years’ experience in/with the Life Sciences, healthcare or technology industries with experience in one or more of the following: digital marketing, brand/product marketing, strategic planning, business planning, analytics, system integration, Commercial / Sales operations experience is required.One-plus (1+) year of Vendor management experience required.Three-plus (3+) years of project management experience, six sigma certification, or equivalent required.Experience with Omnichannel execution preferred.Ability to handle complex workload required.Demonstrated track record in continuous process improvements and sharing of best practices.Requires familiarity with IT, project management, and data management.Experience with Boehringer-Ingelheim platforms preferred.Ability to travel (may include overnight travel).
