Job Description

Business technical execution specialist within the multi-disciplinary Card and Payment Business and Technical Team. 



This includes operational and technical support for Mastercard, 10x and Paymentology service partners and driving digital payments solutions for card.

KEY RESULT AREAS

Have deep understanding of current and new digital payments in the card environmentProven success in driving digital payments projects from development to implementationManage relationship with internal stakeholders that touches card Represent the bank in relevant Card PCHsManage the technical relationship with Mastercard, Paymentology and 10x to ensure delivery of projects and conclusion of incidentsManage the card manufacturing relationship with Crossgate and branchesProvide insight to Business Analysts to formulate Business requirements for projectsBe involved in prioritisation of projects in the roadmapManage relationship with external suppliers Be well informed on new digital payment solutions  and their implementation journeysProvide the second line team with support to resolve customer queries for card transactions Drive investigation and resolving of all unreconciled items  and incidents involving card product.  This includes UX, processing, card stock delivery or processing issues.Card related processing exceptions and disputes Provide insight for new enhancements with the aim of continuously improving and automating processes (incl. SOPs, UAT testing and post deployment checks) Generate daily and monthly management reports  on card transactionsShow ability to understand trends in customer transaction dataParticipation in all internal and external audit reviews Trouble shooting and incident management resolution Training support to first-line customer service team Ensure all operational processes and execution are compliant with industry regulations 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Relevant qualification and/or relevant certificationMinimum 5 years’ work experience in card and business operational/technical roles Experience working in a multi-faced/diverse teamA good understanding of the technology and commercials that support Card Comprehensive knowledge of card payment systems Working operational experience with Mastercard and/or Paymentology will be an advantage We are looking for a smart, energetic, experienced and dynamic achiever who take initiative and ownership, and who thrives on constant challenges and high-speed change.  Be a collaborative and helpful team player

Knowledge and Skills 

Strong knowledge and experience of the payments industry, schemes and regulations and more specifically, the National Payment System (NPS)Strong understanding of the movement of data in a card transactionStrong understanding of the 4 party modelUnderstanding of the PASA and PCH frameworkComputer literacy, Microsoft office: Outlook, PowerPoint, MSWord, MS Excel and MS Teams Ability to articulate ideas and present to senior stakeholdersFinancial and accounting knowledge – understanding basic financial accounting and financial principles
