OM Bank is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Lead Enterprise Architect to shape and guide the evolution of the bank’s IT landscape. This individual will be responsible for documenting the current architecture, designing the future-state architecture aligned with executive strategy, and developing actionable migration plans to bridge the gap. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud computing, and banking technology environments.

KEY RESULT AREAS

Document and maintain the current state architecture of the bank’s IT systems.Design the target state architecture in alignment with the bank’s strategic goals and IT roadmap.Develop comprehensive migration plans to transition from current to target architecture.Collaborate with IT executives and stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment with business objectives.Provide technical leadership and guidance across architecture domains (application, data, infrastructure, security).Evaluate and recommend technology solutions and vendors in line with architectural standards.Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements in architectural designs.Lead architecture governance processes and contribute to enterprise architecture frameworks.Support vendor management and maintain strong relationships with technology partners.Promote cloud adoption and ensure best practices in cloud architecture and operations.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Master’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - AdvantagouesEnterprise Architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) is highly desirable.Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Architect) is a strong advantage.Proven experience in enterprise architecture within a banking or financial services environment.Demonstrated success in designing and delivering cloud-based solutions.Strong understanding of cloud computing models, architectures, and services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.Familiarity with banking regulations, compliance, and security standards.Background in digital transformation initiatives within financial institutions.
