Oliver Wyman is recruiting for a fixed term contract (maternity cover) Knowledge Analyst to support Oliver Wyman’s Energy & Natural Resources practice (ENR) globally.

This role reports directly to the ENR Senior Knowledge Manager and there will also be a high level of direct interaction across the global ENR Knowledge team.
This role has an immediate start date with the contract ending on 31st May 2026.

ENR is a specialized Industry within the Oliver Wyman consulting business, working with oil & gas, utilities, chemicals and metals & mining companies to address strategic, operational and performance challenges and seize new opportunities arising from energy modernization.

This is an exciting opportunity to support a critical industry during a time of much change and opportunity. The purpose of this role is to help facilitate knowledge codification and sharing across the global ENR practice and Oliver Wyman, to support Consultants and Partners to deliver engagements and win new opportunities. The Senior Knowledge Analyst is part of a global ENR Knowledge management team responsible for managing content and developing tools and processes which increase the flow of knowledge within Oliver Wyman.
Serve as a key resource for ENR Partners and Consultants to help them be commercially successful and impactful by providing the information and resources they need
Identify, collect and curate valuable ENR intellectual capital (IC) that can be re-used as knowledge assets
Maintain knowledge and file systems and develop databases/tools to help store and share key insights for business development, account management, etc
Support or potentially lead on certain aspects of the ENR Knowledge Plan to a high level of quality
Take ownership of, or maintain certain ENR knowledge products as directed by the Senior Knowledge Manager
Experience Required:
Educated to Degree level
3+ years’ experience in knowledge management, research or business development
Experience in one or more of the sectors within the ENR Industry (e.g., oil & gas, utilities companies, power generation technologies, renewables, chemicals, mining and metals, etc.)
Ideal candidate will also have prior experience in strategy / management consulting
Research skills a bonus
Technical Skills:
Intermediate Excel proficiency
Strong PowerPoint skills Familiarity with SharePoint or file management tools
Familiarity with database, data management, and data analysis principles
Experience using generative AI tools and their applications beneficial
Skills and Attributes:
Business-level English
