The Opportunity: 

 

We are seeking junior to mid-level research professionals to join our Knowledge Services Research team in Warsaw, Poland. The Knowledge Services department supports consultants with market data and competitor information necessary for successful planning and execution of strategy projects on various topics and industries. 
 

As a Researcher at Oliver Wyman you will conduct research to support information requests submitted by internal clients and members of Oliver Wyman’s global knowledge organization. You will have access to a wide array of information resources including online premium databases covering economic, market and company information. With these resources, you will be trained to identify and source macroeconomic indicators, company financial data, industry trends as well as conduct focused literature reviews. 

 

You will also maintain your own topical information products to help consulting teams stay current in their knowledge of changes and trends in key industry areas. You will learn to analyze data and information to glean deeper insights to enhance your deliverables and service to your clients. The successful candidate will provide support across multiple sectors, with a perspective to focus on a specific industry. 
 

Key Responsibilities: 

Deliver research support: Conduct accurate and timely research to support consulting teams across Oliver Wyman’s diverse Industries and Capabilities, delivering both quick insights and in-depth research 

Leverage research tools: utilize a variety of research tools and sources to gather data, and compile findings into tailored formats that meet the specific needs of consulting teams 

Contribute to knowledge assets development: assist fellow Research team members in developing customized materials and analysis.  

Engage with Global Knowledge Team: work collaboratively with the Global Knowledge team to ensure the delivery of optimal research solutions and advisory support,  

 

What do we expect? 

Fluent English (C1) 

Experience in market research or academic research, and databases user experience are required  

Exceptional problem-solving skills, excellent attention to details and commitment to high-quality standards  

Inquisitive and growth-oriented mindset, willingness to continuously improve your skills to enhance service to our client 

Excellent communication skills and research synthesis skills, ability to analyze data and draw out key insights  

Ability to prioritize your own work to satisfy competing client demands 

Team player who has experience of and has enjoyed working as part of a team 

Strong IT skills – proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
