Job Requirements
Provide foundation package input to front -end project development.Define and lead technical studies to inform key project decisions.Develop the technical portion of the package requisitions including technical specifications and information requirements and support supply chain engagement.Work closely with the Quality lead to define test and inspection requirementsLead the technical bid evaluationPerformance manage contractor package engineeringTechnical verification of contractor engineering including design viewsReview and approve deviationsVerify supplier documentation and manage the document review process, inform inspector visits and support client verification of construction work.Support technical queries from other project functions, particularly operations and commissioningVerify package technical close-out and recommend readiness to shipCapture lessons at key stages during the package management lifecycle to continuously improve portfolio technical knowledge.Deliver foundation innovation, technology and design that optimize the LCoE of the portfolio.

Work Experience
Engineering Degree in a relevant disciplineDemonstrated technical competency in structural engineering discipline with broad understanding of the applicable codes and standards for the scope.Fluent written and spoken English language.Significant experience of project design stages (pre-FEED/FEED/detailed design)A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience of offshore structures.Understanding of the interfaces and interaction with supporting engineering disciplines for the scope of this package, particularly geotechnicalUnderstand technical risk identification and management process to deliver safe and competitive projects.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across functions and within multi-disciplinary teams

Desirable Criteria:

Chartered Engineering Experience of technology developmentUnderstand quality Management process for engineering, manufacture and installationUnderstand technical aspects of competitive procurement processAbility in performance management of others (including 3rd party engineering service providers) to support timely decision making.Experience of construction, installation and operation support.
