Offsite Ads Sales Lead, Enterprise Ad Sales
About the Team

The Enterprise Ad Sales Team is responsible for the marketing vision, development, and growth of our largest advertising partnerships. This team is rapidly growing, and is seeking additional team members to build an industry-leading ads and promotions business across DoorDash’s advertising offering. The growing DoorDash ads business will quickly become the single best place for advertisers to market to local customers, in an ecosystem that benefits all parties.

About the Role

As the Offsite Ads Sales Lead, you will develop the strategy for our fast-growing offsite advertising solutions, working horizontally across the brand-direct ad sales counterparts. You will function as the industry specialist, with deep product knowledge and a keen appreciation for competitive offerings. In this role, you will be responsible for being in-market with clients ultimately in service of achieving their objectives and increasing mutual value for both advertisers and DoorDash. You will also work in close partnership with product, strategy & operations and sales marketing to optimize the flywheel of what we build, how we bring it to market, and how we optimize it over time. You will report into the Head of New Ventures within the Ad Sales org, as part of our Enterprise Sales & Business Development organization.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… Serve as a specialist with deep knowledge of DoorDash’s growing offsite offering and the broader retail media offsite landscape  Operate autonomously as the only person in a role of this kind, while simultaneously building broad relationships across the Ad Sales organization Wear a sales hat while working in a highly cross-functional capacity at the intersection of product, strategy & operations and sales marketing Develop the infrastructure for long-term partnerships and ideate/execute scaled initiatives with advertisers and platforms across our ads offering and beyond.' Establish and grow senior relationships with key stakeholders at both the client and agency level across the US. Educate, empower and enable team members across all levels of advertiser and agency organizations. Own sales pipeline for offsite media spend, from planning and forecasting through to negotiation and execution. Serve as the primary voice of the offsite media landscape within DoorDash, informing product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies, and ultimately ensuring we build for offsite needs now and in the future.  Partner with vertical sales teams to co-pitch offsite media solutions. Accelerate brand-specific advertiser growth through and in partnership with key stakeholders.
