Job Description SummaryThe Offshore Wind EHS Leader is a critical role within GE Vernova’s global Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) function and part of the EHS Leadership Team, overseeing a team of EHS professionals, both employees and contractors, dispersed throughout the United States and Europe.
This position's primary responsibilities involve supporting the EHS needs of our Customer Project Execution and Services business, offering guidance and consultation on all aspects of EHS pertaining to the transportation, construction, commissioning, and servicing of offshore wind turbines to achieve safe and compliant operations.Job Description

Responsibilities
Provide active EHS leadership, guidance and mentoring for the project and operations teamLead a team of EHS professionals who are working at different sitesEstablish and communicate EHS targets and determine related KPIs for the projectOverall responsible for incident management, regulatory compliance, and GE Vernova Wind EHS requirementsActively participate and coordinate hazard identification and risk management processesEnsure contractor safety management program execution Identify and inspect hazards and define corrective measures for their eliminationPrepare proposals for improving safety standards and observance thereofDrive and support positive project stakeholder relationshipsIdentify and deliver the implementation of EHS objectivesRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree Occupational HSE (or related field)Wealth of work experience with HSE, ideally from relevant fields of industry (i.e., construction, maritime, offshore, energy and infrastructure industries)Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH) preferredDemonstrated ability to lead teams/projects/programs.Desired Characteristics
