Job Title: Offset Printing Press Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Offset Printing Press Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will efficiently operate offset printing equipment, ensuring high-quality production while maintaining productivity. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to manage inventory levels, perform daily maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment as needed.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate offset printing presses to produce printed materials according to job specifications.Install printing plates, adjust ink levels, and configure paper feed systems.Calibrate press settings for color, registration, and alignment.Perform routine maintenance on presses, including cleaning rollers and replacing worn parts.Troubleshoot mechanical and printing issues to minimize downtime.Report major equipment problems to maintenance or supervisors.Setup, program, and release jobs from the print queue.Work closely with prepress technicians, bindery staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.Essential Skills2+ years of experience as a press setup operator.Mechanical aptitude.Experience with hand and power tools.Tape measure/ruler experience required.Experience with programming is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM on the 1st shift in a nice, clean warehouse. Most equipment and racks in the facility are new, providing a modern and efficient working environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
