Join us! **Job Description** An opportunity has opened up on the Asia Pacific, Global Accounting & Reconciliation Team within Global Operations. The APAC Reconciliation team, based in Singapore, is responsible for managing a wide variety of reconciliations with focus on risk and exposure management and process improvement for the global markets business. As a member of the Team, you will prepare daily/ monthly reconciliations including month-end balance sheet attestation. Partake in tactical and strategic projects focused on improving the reconciliation space, executing controls to reduce risk across the recon utility, and overall support of the operating model. The candidate will get the opportunity to develop greater understanding as to how Bank of America operates as a whole, allowing for interaction with various operational teams across different regions. **Primary Responsibility:** • Serve as a reconciliation team member contributing to daily BAU production work through the completion of responsible reconciliations • Interact with stakeholders from different operational teams and locations to deliver on BAU and remediate issues • Assist with Month End Balance Sheet Attestation • Manage group mailbox and ensure queries are responded to in timely manner • Contribute to Audit Requests related to Reconciliations performed • Contribute to reducing risks and driving operational excellence in the reconciliation space • Support all other reconciliation responsibilities of the team **Requirements** • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent • 3-5 years of Financial Industry experience, operations and/ or reconciliations experience preferred • Ability to work in a team environment and able to effectively coordinate and collaborate across various teams • Self starter, able to manage own time, work independently but know when to escalate • Ability to manage multiple priorities/ tasks to meet tight deadlines • Willingness to learn with excellent attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communications skills • Utilizes Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) effectively, intermediate Excel skills preferred **Other Qualifications:** ∙ Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions ∙ Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward ∙ Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs – is a continuous learner ∙ Commitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive change. ∙ Participate in and drive collaborative efforts to advance tools, technology, and ways of working to better serve an evolving client base ∙ Believes in value of diversity so we can reflect, connect and meet the diverse needs of our clients and employees around the world Bank of America and its affiliates consider for employment and hire qualified candidates without regard to race, religious creed, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, protected veteran or disability status or any factor prohibited by law, and as such affirms in policy and practice to support and promote the concept of equal employment opportunity, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, provincial and municipal laws.
