Join us! **Job Description:** An opportunity for a highly motivated, industry established and mid-level professional to join the Futures and Options and OTC Clearing Operations team. Candidate will be looking to pursue a successful career in the field of Futures & Options and OTC Clearing. The department has a Market Operation which comprises of Clearing, Deliveries (manages Life Cycle events), Reconciliation, Regulatory / Exchange and Process Control, Data Control, Static Data, Clearing Infrastructure Solution and Strategy. This structure is replicated globally in AMRS and EMEA, processing trading activity over 60+ global exchanges either through direct clearing memberships or third party brokers. The candidate will be the joining the Reconciliation team. Candidate must possess strong risk and control mindset, and issue management skills. **Role Description** • Responsible for reconciliation activities across APAC exchanges supported from Singapore, which include: o Oversight of reconciliation activities o Manage sub-ledger corrections o Act as escalation point for issues raised by the L1 reconciliation team o Client money break reporting o MIS reporting o Break management and escalation o Investigate breaks and issues raised • Continuous Improvement of the Operating Environment with regards to Straight-Through-Processing, Risk and Control • Partner with key internal stakeholders to support strategy and policies, including new business initiatives, development and implementation of new processes and controls • Ensure compliance of reconciliation operations to internal policies and relevant rules and regulations • Engage with Operation and Technology teams, including Global Business Services (GBS), to ensure smooth reconciliation operations • Owning risk agenda for ETD, including governance, control and process reviews • Ability to connect with other regions within Global Market Operations and Compliance to ensure consistent awareness of changing regulatory environment **Required & Preferred Skills** • Excellent communication, effective with peers and senior management • Strength in identifying and implementing solutions for process improvement • Attention to details and strong analytical abilities to interpret and resolve complex issues and queries • Promote collaboration within Global Market Operations to achieve desired results as a group • Proficient in exchange traded derivatives and related client money regulations • Futures industry experience working for a FCM, Exchange, Clearing House or Regulator • Experience using SunGard GMI system is preferred, as well as experience with reconciliation systems **Other Qualifications:** ∙ Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions ∙ Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward ∙ Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs - is a continuous learner ∙ Commitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive change. ∙ Participate in and drive collaborative efforts to advance tools, technology, and ways of working to better serve an evolving client base ∙ Believes in value of diversity so we can reflect, connect and meet the diverse needs of our clients and employees around the world Bank of America and its affiliates consider for employment and hire qualified candidates without regard to race, religious creed, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, protected veteran or disability status or any factor prohibited by law, and as such affirms in policy and practice to support and promote the concept of equal employment opportunity, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, provincial and municipal laws.
