Office of the US Chief Executive Officer | Senior Manager – External Programming
Position summary
The Office of the US CEO is seeking a senior manager to join our team of experienced professionals to drive a broad-range of strategic initiatives, high-visibility projects and activities guided by Deloitte’s strategy and in support of the priorities set by the US CEO and Executive Leadership Team. This position will report to a Managing Director in the Office of the US CEO, will lead a dedicated team, and will team closely with members of the Office of the US CEO and other professionals who support senior leaders across the firm. The position involves interaction with Deloitte's CEO and other senior leaders.
The ideal candidate will have client service or client service leadership support experience, strong executive presence, be able to work under tight deadlines, and effectively collaborate and navigate across the organization. The candidate will have demonstrated strong project management experience, client-centricity, analytical skills, business acumen, strong communications skills, an ability to synthesize information into executive-level briefings, and have an interest in supporting both internal and external operations. In this fast-paced, integrated, teaming environment, there will be times that extended hours or weekend work may be required.
Work you’ll do
Manage and coordinate high-priority, day-to-day activities in support of the US CEO and Office of the CEO team.Help define US CEO’s client and marketplace strategy and priorities, refreshing as needed to reflect changing marketplace demandReview and analyze marketplace engagement activities for regular reporting to the US CEO, US Board, and Global OCEODevelop and review executive level briefings and content for client meetings, pursuits, speaking events, and c-suite engagement opportunities.Work in collaboration with internal teams / stakeholders to shape executive-level involvement in large-scale external eventsCompose and review executive-level email communications to support client relationship development and pursuitsManage the US CEO external organization portfolio including TPRM, independence, funding, agreements, and engagement with organizationCollaborate with the OCEO External Communications and Internal Programming teamsManage the members of the OCEO External Programming teamDirectly support the US CEO for San Francisco-based events and strategic projects as needed.The successful candidate will have and/or be able to:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced OneNote, PowerPoint, and Excel skillsOutstanding communication skills: written, oral, and presentationDetail-oriented, highly organized, flexible, agile, and adaptableDemonstrated executive presence, creativity, strategic, and analytical thinkingDemonstrates a high degree of discretion, diplomacy, and the ability to maintain confidentialityAbility to work independently and effectively in a virtual team environmentQualifications
Required:
10+ years of relevant experience, ideally within client service or in an internal client service / alliance leadership support rolePrior project management experience; managing and completing multiple concurrent tasks in a high-paced, deadline-driven environmentAbility to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $186,500 to $311,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
