The Office of Regulatory Relations ORR centrally coordinates and performs day-to-day management of the STA and Statutory audits. The Office is responsible for ensuring that these audits are completed within the agreed audit timeline. In addition, ORR is responsible for providing appropriate governance, reporting and oversight of all GSBE audit findings and, as required, provides targeted escalation to senior management.
The Office of Regulatory Relations is also responsible for the firms engagement with the ECB.
The Office is structured in three broad pillars. Successful candidates will have responsibilities across the three pillars:
Regulatory engagement and strategy Own and strengthen the relationship with key regulatory bodies for GSBE (including external regulatory auditors) Have holistic overview for all regulatory & external audit related matters Translate the regulatory bodies requirements and expectations internally and give strategic guidance on firms positioning and messaging on respective topics Ensure quality control of the deliverables and that the regulators expectations and requirements are complied to/ addressed Agree with senior management on next steps Engage all relevant stakeholders to ensure information sharing for all regulatory priorities and tracking of interaction Ensure connectivity with firmwide regulatory oversight engagement committees Identify common themes across all the regulatory and audit topics to create synergies and efficiencies, timely remediation, and to push pre-emptive measures to avoid future findings Findings Remediation Track open findings and its remediation efforts - Responsible for the adequate and timely completion of deliverables, external audits, commitments and targets Create visibility for senior stakeholders on open findings and its remediation status Ensure for all findings remediation are upheld Project Management Responsible for the adequate and timely completion of deliverables, external audits, commitments, and targets Partner with the respective ECB exam owners to ensure seamless running of the exams Ensure standards for all findings remediation are upheld SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Strong leadership, interpersonal, and relationship management skills including with senior stakeholders Strong verbal and written communication skills Project management experience Ability to ensure quality of deliverable and whether it meets regulators and auditors expectations Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast-paced environment Accurate, accountable and able to multitask while managing both time and work-load ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHSAt Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
