Office Manager (Onsite)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Office Manager to oversee operations across our European entities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient office management, fostering a positive work environment, and driving employee engagement initiatives. This role requires a proactive individual with exceptional organizational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple locations and teams.

Working Hours:

Around 6 hours per day (5 days a week onsite)(Starting 8:30 am - but could be flexible based on the tasks)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Office Management: Oversee daily operations of multiple office locations across Europe, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to company policies.Facility Management: Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and improvements for office facilities to provide a safe and productive work environment.Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to senior management and teams, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, organizing events and travel planning.Employee Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to increase employee engagement and satisfaction, including organizing team-building activities, wellness programs, and recognition initiatives.Budget Management: Manage office budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions for office supplies and services.Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of services.Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies across all office locations.Communication: Serve as a liaison between European offices and the headquarters, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on office operations, employee engagement metrics, and other relevant data to senior management.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

Work Experience: 

Minimum of 5 years of experience in office management, with a proven track record of managing multiple locations and driving employee engagement.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification:

Special Job Competencies:

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office management software.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Fluency in English is required; in addition, fluency in Dutch is preferred.

Travel: 1-2 times per year
