Office Manager/Accounting Clerk
Description General Office & Accounting Assistant Location: Albany, NY Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pay: $20 – $23/hour (Temp-to-Hire) We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable General Office & Accounting Assistant to join our client’s team in Albany, NY. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with room for training and growth, where the role will be shaped based on the successful candidate’s strengths and experience. Key Responsibilities + Perform basic accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and processing time & materials (T& M) sheets + Assist with general office duties, including answering phones, filing, and handling correspondence + Enter data into Viewpoint or similar accounting software (training provided) + Complete special projects as assigned + Provide administrative support to help streamline workload for management Requirements Qualifications + 1–2 years of basic accounting experience or knowledge + Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office Suite + Comfort using a calculator and performing accurate data entry + Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills + Friendly, professional demeanor with a willingness to learn and take on new tasks Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
