Senior Administrator/ Office Manager
Location: Farringdon
Hours: 30 hours per week 3 days office and 1 day WFH
Salary: Up to £28,000

A growing and well-respected environmental consultancy is seeking an experienced and proactive Office Manager to join their London team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative and management experience looking for a flexible role that offers both responsibility and variety.
 
The Role
This position plays a key part in the smooth running of day-to-day operations and supports wider business functions. The successful candidate will lead a small admin team, manage internal processes, and act as the go-to person for all things office-related.
 
Key Responsibilities Include:
Leading and supporting the admin team to ensure deadlines are met and workloads are balancedOverseeing and managing a shared mailbox, ensuring timely task delegation and completionImplementing process improvements and streamlining systems where possibleMaintaining and updating internal documents and procedure guides on the company’s SharePoint HubDelivering induction training and being a “champion” of administrative best practicesAssisting technical staff with bid submissions, formatting reports, and compiling CVsSupporting health and safety functions, including DSEs, risk assessments, and certificationsTaking ownership of ISO 9001 and 14001 audits and embedding processes into the teamCoordinating travel arrangements for site visits and directorsPlaying an active role in team social and wellbeing initiativesOverseeing general office management duties: managing supplies, dealing with post, organising tradespeople, liaising with landlords, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office functionSupporting ad hoc tasks from the senior leadership team 
What They’re Looking For:
Previous experience managing or supervising a small admin or office teamExcellent time management, organisation, and leadership skillsA self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solvingStrong written and verbal communicationHigh level of attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and ExcelA positive, professional, and collaborative attitude
