Description
Are you a driven and resourceful professional with a talent for organization and leadership? Our client in the construction industry is currently seeking a skilled Office Manager to oversee daily office operations, create efficiencies, and support their fast-paced team. As the backbone of the office, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of administrative processes while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Oversee all day-to-day office operations, ensuring processes run smoothly.
+ Manage and mentor administrative staff, fostering their growth and productivity.
+ Monitor budgets and expenses, oversee vendor contracts, and ensure cost-efficiency.
+ Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to support operational needs.
+ Maintain and improve filing and record-keeping systems for projects, contracts, and administrative documentation.
+ Coordinate office purchasing processes, including office supplies, equipment, and service requests.
+ Support HR functions, such as new employee onboarding and compliance tracking.
+ Develop and enforce office policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and organization.
+ Ensure the office complies with safety and industry-related regulations.
Requirements
+ Proven experience as an Office Manager, ideally in the construction or related industry.
+ Strong understanding of office management responsibilities, financial processes, and operations.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with construction software like Procore or Bluebeam (a plus but not required).
+ Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to manage teams and facilitate collaboration.
+ Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
+ Knowledge of HR and compliance requirements is a plus.
