About being our Office Land Surveyor:\n
As an Office Land Surveyor, you'll have the opportunity to work with a cohesive team of motivated and supportive surveyors on several major public infrastructure projects throughout California. Responsibility Highlights for our Office Land Surveyor:\n\nOrganizing and coordinating projects, which include a broad range of assignments requiring knowledge of surveying\/mapping.\nResearching and analyzing title reports and record documents, including placement of easements and encumbrances.\nResolving boundaries for individual parcels as well as large land net surveys.\nOverseeing the production of topographic mapping often incorporating various methods of data collection including scanning, aerial and conventional.\nProducing and\/or overseeing the production of survey documents related to land acquisition including right of way strip maps, appraisal plats and legal descriptions. \nPreparing field packages and coordinating with field crews.\nPerforming and\/or overseeing the production of construction staking calculations.

Required Qualifications for our Office Land Surveyor:\n\nKnowledge of foundational principles of surveying through schooling, certificates, and\/or experience\nWillingness and ability to learn the skills needed to develop into a multi-faceted office surveyor\nAcademic course work and training certification credits in land surveying\nKnowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D

Preferred Qualifications for our Office Land Surveyor:\n\nBA or BS in Land Surveying or a related field \n2+ years of similar survey experience \nLand Surveyor in Training (LSIT)\nTrimble Business Center and\/or MicroStation familiarity
