This position works under limited supervision with the ability to set priorities and maintains confidentiality. Works collaboratively with the Administrative Manager and peers. Covers for other office coordinators in their absences. This position requires excellent organization, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Works collaboratively with the prior auth team and is responsible for emergent prior auths for procedures. Coordinates/reviews office activities and the provider's schedules. Reports to Administrative Manager. Department Specific Job Details: Works collaboratively with the Nurse Manager, Medical Director and Nurse Coordinators of Hemostasis/Thrombosis Center. This position requires excellent organization, problem solving and interpersonal skills. This position works under limited supervision with the ability to set priorities and maintains confidentiality. Provides all secretarial support to the Hemostasis/Thrombosis staff. Provides clinic schedule build/maintenance of the hemophilia clinic. Responsible for the submission of accurate data in the ATHN (American thrombosis and hemostasis network) national database and providing database maintenance and analysis for the HTC to support vital research and improve care. Reports to Nurse Manager.
