OFFICE ASSISTANT
Full Time- Bay Shore

The Children’s Services of ACLD provides a continuum of services to children from ages three to twenty-one in their pre-school and after-school programs. We currently have an opportunity for an Office Assistant to join our Bay Shore Facility.
In this role, you will perform a wide range of administrative and office support functions.
RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent1 – 2 years office experienceProficiency in Microsoft OfficeEssential Functions
General clerical activities including filing, scanning, updating paperwork, mailing out packetsResponsible for phone interactions with families and staff (internal and external)Process and distribute office paperwork as directed by office administrators.Develop and update assigned reports Provide coverage for front desk , as needed Other duties as assigned.
Depending on program needs may
Set up and update files for all students in IEP+Act as liaison between finance and school district to address STAC concernsCoordinate transportation with counties and bus companies to see that all procedures are in compliance with county regulations, time-lines, and documentation requirements and resolve all issues

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Full Time- 35 hours a week Mon-Fri 7:45-3:15
