Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional looking for a dynamic role in the Engineering Consulting industry? Join our Kamloops office as an Office Administrator, where you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly.

What a day at EXP has in store for you
Administrative Support: Assist project managers with document preparation, filing, scheduling, and data entry to keep things moving efficiently. Office Operations: Maintain a clean, organized office space, stock supplies, and ensure all areas—from reception to meeting rooms—function seamlessly. Reception & Communication: Be the welcoming face of the office, greeting visitors, answering/directing calls, and coordinating incoming/outgoing mail and courier shipments. HR & Onboarding Support: Assist in employee onboarding/offboarding, working closely with hiring managers, HR, and IT. Health & Safety: Uphold health and safety protocols for office staff and guests. On-the-Job Lab Training: Participate in hands-on training in concrete, soils, and other lab tests under the guidance of the Lab Manager. Learn to record results and prepare materials reports to support engineers in project assessments. Develop industry knowledge to support your team. Team Collaboration: Work alongside administrators, engineers, and support staff to facilitate office efficiency. Other Duties as Assigned: Stay flexible and ready to support various projects and tasks.
What your experience looks like:
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support team collaboration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience in administrative support, preferably within a professional or technical industry. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Self-motivated attitude with a keen attention to detail.Ready to take the next step?
