**Overview**
This role is ideal for a dynamic data and analytics sales leader with deep expertise in data engineering, analytics and AI with a passion for driving digital and AI transformation, to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced and evolving market.
This role is responsible for driving sales growth, market visibility and adoption of Data engineering and Analytics solutions. This leader will develop and execute sales strategies, build executive relationships, and lead a quota-carrying team to achieve revenue and pipeline targets in enterprise markets.
**Key Responsibilities**
The position will be directly responsible for the following:
+ Responsible for creation, nurturing and obsolescence of Data and Analytics offerings.
+ Communication and Education of Data & Analytics offering area to internal sales team within the organization.
+ Identify and qualify industry whitespaces and orchestrate cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, partner ecosystem and marketing) to deliver tailored solutions.
+ Develop and implement strategic Go-To-Market plans to expand the customer base and increase market share for data engineering offerings.
+ Lead, mentor, and manage a team of commercial professionals, setting clear objectives and conducting regular performance reviews.
+ Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor on data engineering and analytics solutions.
+ Align offerings and partner value propositions with customer needs, leveraging industry knowledge and technical expertise.
+ Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and report on key trends and metrics to senior executive leadership.
+ Collaborate with product, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction and solution success.
+ Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to promote data engineering, Analytics and AI capabilities.
**Required Skills/Experience**
+ Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) and related analytics/AI offerings.
+ 15+ years of experience in sales leadership in cloud data and analytics ecosystem or data platform solutions.
+ Deep understanding of data engineering, analytics, AI and BI technologies.
+ Strong people management, coaching, and team development skills.
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
+ Strategic thinking with strong execution drive.
+ Ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders and act as a thought leader in data and analytics.
+ Knowledge of industry-specific data engineering and Analytics challenges
