Pay $17.75 plus $ 2.00 shift premium
Offal Attendant Class IV
Department (Tasks)
This position is responsible for ensuring offal trailer weights are maintained, operate a forklift to empty totes into the residue trailers as necessary, operate a scissor lift while wearing fall protection to remove liners, cardboard, etc from the residue trailers, operate the cement scrubber to keep the grounds clean and communicating with management and co-workers and processing paperwork necessary to position. This position will be exposed to a work environment that is tied to what the weather outside is (rain, heat, cold, insects), wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas, concrete grounds and noise levels that are loud enough to require dual hearing protection. Must be willing to lift, push, pull up to 95 lbs. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Position Specific (Requirements) - External
Must be willing to take and pass forklift operation certification, scissor lift operation certification and fall protection certification.
Hours of work: Mon-Fri (3:30pm to 3:00 am ) with occasional Saturdays
Must have 6 months of continuous work history within the past 2 years. Must have a minimum of 3 months experience operating machinery in a processing /factory environment.
