This position is responsible for managing a sales team in new account development and growing existing accounts within an established geographic or named account territory, specifically for State & Local Government territory. Detailed Description:An OCI & AI IaaS Sales Director manages a sales team to identify, qualify, and deliver Oracle’s revolutionary OCI and Generative AI cloud products and solutions across the private or public cloud.
Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Values collaboration and giving back by mentoring and coaching the sales’ team members. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Manages and develops a team of sales representative including recruiting, hiring, training new reps in Oracle’s sales process. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue monthly. Manages escalations. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team. Follows all companies' methodologies and processes related to sales opportunity pursuit.
