1/ Main tasks & key responsibilities:Create and confirm transport orders to ensure pickup of the shipment at the originPerform booking and booking optimization according to internal guidelines as defined by ProductPrepare, control and distribute all required Import/ Export documents to counterparts (carrier, consignee, supplier, etc.) complying with regulations and internal proceduresCheck responses from counterparts and finalize validation of required documentsFollow up on shipment status in the Import/ Export area, identify incidents and ensure resolution of incidentsSupport Customer Service in the incident and exception management resolutionMaintain excellent relationships with suppliersIs responsible for identifying performance issues of suppliers and proposes solutions to improve/correct performancePerform IT systems-related tasks to provide up-to-date information on shipmentInteract with Customer Service, Product, and Global Service Centers, if required 2/ Requirements:Extensive knowledge of Ocean Freight OperationsBachelor's degree in International Business/ Supply Chain Management/ Import - ExportAt least 2-3 years of experience in Ocean Freight OperationsGood English communication/writing skillsGood administrative skillsHard-working, able to work under pressureResults-driven and attention-to-details
