📍Location/hybrid working: Landmark House Hybrid approach / meeting regularly on Microsoft teams with OT managers
đź’¸Rate: ÂŁ32 to ÂŁ38ph
Must have experience with Children’s equipment or adaptations for a 6 month placement.
We are seeking an experienced OT to work with children and young people up to the age of 18 years old, permanently resident in Suffolk with a substantial and long-term physical or mental impairment.
Skill set to include:
Minor Adaptations Major Adaptations (completing assessments for major adaptations and making DFG/major adaptation recommendations)Equipment Provision (Such as Profiling Beds, Safety Beds, Shower Chairs, Stair Climbers, Changing Tables, Hoists and Slings Etc) Moving and Handling – (offering low-level advice to complex moving and handling, including hoisting, sling assessments, in bed turning and slide sheet systems, single-handed care)Knowledge of neurodiverse conditions / behaviour management, safety equipment / recommendations
