**Join Our Team as a Full-Time Occupational Specialist!**
Are you passionate about workplace health, safety, and wellness? Do you enjoy working in dynamic environments and making a real difference in the lives of employees and employers alike? We’re looking for a dedicated **Occupational Specialist** to join our team full-time!
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
**Location:** Based in clinic with local on-site travel
**On-Call:** Rotational, including some 24/7 availability for specific services
**What You’ll Do:**
As an Occupational Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our Occupational Medicine providers and clients by:
+ Conducting **on-site reviews, physical demand testing, and ergonomic assessments** at employer facilities
+ Developing and delivering **customized health and safety programs** , including lifting techniques, posture training, and injury prevention strategies
+ Performing **substance abuse testing** both in-clinic and on-site, including emergency on-call response
+ Operating our **mobile health unit** to deliver services directly to employer locations
+ Assisting with **medical surveillance testing** (spirometry, audiometry, vision, vitals) and supporting clinical care as needed
+ Building strong relationships with the business community through **health fairs, education events, and outreach**

+ A proactive, adaptable professional with a background in occupational health, physical therapy, exercise science, or a related field
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employers and employees
+ Willingness to travel locally and participate in a rotating on-call schedule

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science or Art degree. Ability to quickly establish rapport with students, physicians, staff and co-workers. Highly organized and able to prioritize assignments. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to worksites within local area required.
**Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**
Within 90 days of hire the following certifications are needed: Breath Alcohol Certification Certified Professional Collector (through DATIA) Spirometry (National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) Audiometry (Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist)
+ Athletic Trainer
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
+ Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
+ Act 33 with renewal
+ Act 34 with renewal
+ Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
