JOIN MUNSON HEALTHCARE’S OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH TEAM!  Full-Time | Monday-Friday | No Call GENERAL SUMMARYMunson Healthcare is seeking an experienced physician to join our Occupational Health and Medicine team in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan. The ideal candidate will be BE/BC in Occupational Medicine.  We will strongly consider a BE/BC Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic, Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care physician with experience in the practice of occupational medicine or a strong desire to learn.  We are very willing to guide, educate, or mentor the chosen individual in the core competencies in the practice of Occupational Medicine.  It is our goal to find the “right” individual to join our outstanding team of professionals as we understand finding a physician experienced in the practice of occupational medicine will be difficult due to the nature of the specialty. In this position, you’ll provide clinical occupational health services, evaluate and treat occupational injuries and illnesses, and perform specialty examinations to patients, employers, and payors. Specialty examinations include: employment physicals, DOT physical exams, respiratory physical exams, merchant mariner exams, return to work exams, and fit for duty exams.
