This Position reports to:
HSE Specialist
In this position, you will be responsible for delivering medical care to employees, including handling emergencies, workplace injuries, and general health consultations. You’ll manage daily health records and productivity reports, lead safety inspections and help prevent health risks within the workplace. A key part of your role includes training staff in occupational health and safety practices, overseeing health campaigns, drills, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory health programs. You’ll also coordinate medical transfers if needed, monitor medical inventory, and guide wellness initiatives to foster a safer, healthier environment for all employees. Strong leadership, clear communication, and solid organizational skills will be vital to succeed in this role.

This role is contributing to the NEMA Motors division in Tlajomulco de Zuniga.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Provide care for employees in cases of illness, incidents, or work accidents
Maintain daily records of medical care and activities, including productivity statistics
Respond to emergencies, administer medical aid, and manage internal/external medical leaves
Conduct inspections to detect unsafe conditions and promote prevention measures
Train personnel in health and safety practices, ergonomics, and occupational health programs
Monitor and manage inventory of medical equipment, medications, and supplies
Support health campaigns, simulations, corporate meetings, and hospital/lab transfers when necessary
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor's degree in Medicine from a public or private university, desirable with a Master's or specialization in Health, preferably Occupational Health or Industrial Safety
Minimum 2 years as Occupational Physician in industrial settings or companies
Mexican Official Norms (STPS, IMSS, SSA, LFT) and civil protection protocols
Essential knowledge in: Data analysis, medical emergency care, basic and advanced first aid, ergonomics and occupational medicine, psychosocial risk factors
Safety, Hygiene and Ergonomics certifications or diplomas
Skills in communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution
Basic-Intermediate level of English communication skills
